Established in 1987 and named after Queen Victoria’s on her 60th jubilee coronation the is 27 acres in the city center. Beautifully laid out gardens this park is maintained by the local municipality for the enjoyment of the public. The best time to visit the park is in march to may and again in the months of august and September.
A short walk from Firsmead this park offers a pleasurable stroll along its paths and around manicured lawns and flower beds. Some of the birds you can observe on this walk are the Kashmir flycather, Indian pitta and Grey tit. A children's play area complete with mini train is at the far end of the park.
