The best known location in Nuwara Eliya is Horton Plains for bird watching. The Galway land forest, Victoria park and Moon plains are also reasonably good. Horton Plains National Park is home to several endemic birds such as Sri Lanka Bush Warbler, Yellow eared Bulbul, Wood pigeon and the endangered Sri Lanka scaly thrush, whistling thrush.This certainly a walk birders would not want to miss.
